Ostuni at Cardiff

Many visits to this typically Italian cafe/deli that produces food as it should be, good quality, well presented and fairly priced.

It’s situated in the Lakeside area of Cardiff and serves sandwiches, baguettes and panini’s along with the very best in pastries and delicatessen delicacies you could ever dream of, so much so it’s tempting to over order for fear of missing out on what’s on display in the cooler.

The coffee is ‘spot on’ and you wouldn’t get nicer if you actually went to the origins of this little gem in Ostuni, Puglia in the Province of Brindisi. But why go there when it’s on your doorstep in Cardiff.

I have known il padre Angelo for many years who has passed his skills and talents on to his family keeping the authenticity alive both in flavour and tradition.

Don’t go past without popping in for a coffee and a bite to eat, you won’t regret it.
